Homeroam is a small robot camera you drive from your phone. Roll into the kitchen to chat with family overseas, pop in on Mum interstate, or check on the dog from work, all in live 1080p with two-way audio.
Night vision keeps the view going after dark, and when it needs charging, it drives itself home to its dock. No one at home has to answer, hold a screen or remember to plug anything in.

Questions, answered
What Wi-Fi do I need?
The robot connects to the home's Wi-Fi, so the house it lives in needs a working Wi-Fi network. You pair it during setup in the Tuya Smart / Smart Life app, which walks you through the network requirements. The phone you watch from can be anywhere with an internet connection.
Is it private and secure?
You control who can see the camera through your app account. Only people you invite can view it. We recommend a strong, unique password for your app account and keeping the app up to date.
How does it charge?
It comes with a charging dock. When it needs charging, it drives itself back to the dock, so nobody at home has to remember to plug it in.
Can it go upstairs or over rugs?
It drives around one level of the home. It can't climb stairs, so set the dock up on the floor where your loved one spends most of their time.
Is it hard to set up for an older parent?
You can do the setup yourself before you hand it over, or on a visit. Plug in the dock, connect the robot to the home Wi-Fi in the app, and you're done. After that, your parent doesn't need to do anything: you drive it from your phone, and it takes itself back to charge.
What's in the box?
The robot camera and its charging dock. A microSD card isn't included. If you want local recording, add a card of up to 512GB.
Delivery and returns
Free delivery Australia-wide. Orders dispatch in 1–3 business days and usually arrive in 7–15 business days. You can return it within 30 days. Change-of-mind return postage is paid by the customer. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply. Questions? Email homeroamau@gmail.com.
Does it need a subscription?
No. Live view and two-way talk in the app are free, and you can record to a microSD card. The app offers optional paid cloud video storage if you want it.
